Official Robot Contest Portal at Taiwan
為了讓曾經參加過「全國大專院校創思設計與製作競賽」之每一參賽隊伍在努力了大半年之後能夠留下珍貴之回憶及記錄，並能讓社會大眾和大專院校師生能夠輕易搜尋並參考學習到設計與製作機器人之寶貴知識，台灣科技大學機械系林其禹教授，同時也是第七屆和第八屆競賽活動的執行秘書，於民國92年10月1日於教育部舉行之第七屆創思設計與製作競賽第二次指導委員會議中建議成立此創思設計與製作競賽之永久資料庫型網站，並在教育部技職司提供經費贊助下由台灣科技大學林其禹教授和詹朝基教授共同創建本入口網站。財團法人TDK文教基金會則每年贊助本站之經常性維持經費。
「全國大專院校創思設計與製作競賽入口網站」將保存每一屆競賽主題、競賽規則、每一個參賽隊伍的指導老師及參賽同學的姓名及照片和他們的心得、及每一個隊伍包含機器人機構設計、材料選擇、機電控制製作過程及特色介紹之PDF文獻檔、決賽影片片段、競賽成績及其他許多相關寶貴資料，讓這些付出大量心血後得到的珍貴資料及成果能讓大專院校師生及社會大眾隨時分享，也讓參賽老師與同學們在許多年以後有機會在網站上重溫自己美好的回憶，也同時能讓社會大眾有絕佳機會參考和學習設計製作機器人之相關技術。
本網站除了收集保存已舉行之前八屆競賽之相關資料外，未來舉行之每一屆競賽之相關資料也將收錄於本網站。本網站除繼續收集創思設計與製作競賽之相關資料外，也將繼續收集國內外與創思設計或機器人相關網站資料，來不斷提高本網站之教育參考價值，並期許將來成為台灣科技成就對外傳播的一個小窗口。本網站於民國94年1月1日正式啟用，歡迎大眾閱覽並提供各國機器人設計與製作和機器人競賽相關資料以供收錄分享。
This web site is served as the educational portal for Creative Robot Design in Taiwan Area. This portal site is powered by Louts/Domino R6.5 and served as the database server to provide complete information about the Taiwan’s CREATIVE ROBOT COONTESTS. It will provide full-text searching capabilities on information regarding to every annual robot contest held in past years. The Engineering Database Team, (NTUST/EDB Lab. led by Prof. Dustin Chan) is responsible to operate and manage this site to provide the Chinese education information to the general public. Our site will continue growing up with the resorted multimedia information of all past contests between 1997-2004 and of all upcoming annual robot contests.
